Brand Visual Designer

Challenge

Lyft.com needed to scale their website and UX/UI component library. Originally being housed in a bespoke website framework that did allow for growth to develop other pages without the help of developers which were limited on resource.

Task

As the lead designer for web, the ask was to adopt design system that was started by a product design and to expand it the component library. Design within Figma then build desktop/mobile design in headless CMS, Contentful. Lyft was also going through a redesign and web elements had to be updated with color, typography, photography and iconography.

Action

Developed and designed additional web component's based on A/B testing and scaled web pages for campaign initiatives and partnerships. Redesigned elements to match rebranding efforts for Lyft product. Grew original design library of web component from 30 to 60.

Result

Scaled website architecture and increased click-through rate to 80%.

As the Brand Visual Designer for Lyft.com, she maintained, designed, and built web pages using Figma and a CMS. This involved adopting a design system of modules and expanding them into more advanced components through collaboration with front-end engineering, reflecting a commitment to delivering impactful and cohesive brand visuals in the UI design space.
